Woeful innit? Eli being asked to make passes and he can't, the defense has fallen apart. There goes your bet I assume? Unlucky. What the deal for the next game? Steelers by a few or a lot?

I'm on Campbell in the golf so it might save my weekend.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

To be honest I din't realise all the LB's were gone. I've seen Greisen a couple of times before and he is atrocious.

I like the Bengals in this one but you never know, it should be close though.

Well wildcard weekend was pretty rubbish. Washington set a record for being the worst team ever to win a playoff game. Jacksonville and Giants should be given first round picks for being so crap. The last game would have been fantastic if Palmer had stayed fit.

Don't think anyone looked amazing, and all teams that had a week off should be favourites.

    Next weeks games:

    Saturday, January 14
    Washington (11-6) at Seattle (13-3)
New England (11-6) at Denver (13-3)

    Sunday, January 15
    Pittsburgh (12-5) at Indianapolis (14-2)
    Carolina (12-5) at Chicago (11-5)

I reckon Seattle and Indianapolis should be bankers. The other two could be very interesting. FFS, Patriots is starting at 8.30 in Denver. That's about 2.30am here I think!!!

    As for predictions,

    3 correct: ME! and Soper

2 correct: Real, Clifford, Aberdonian, Swinford

    1 correct : Kerry Blue

It looks like Palmer will be lucky to even be fit when the season starts in September, he tore the ACL and MCL in his knee.

It ruined that game to be honest. The Giants and Eli looked clueless but that defeat goes down to those sorry LB's. Lewis and Greisen are disgraceful.

    Ok looking to next week

    AFC
    Patriots @ Broncos
Steelers @ Colts (that's called thinking with your heart not head)

    NFC
    Panthers @ Bears
    Redskins @ Seahawks

Admittedly I'm more than a bit foolhardy going against the Colts but in the other three match ups I think he road team has an advantage in two of them.

That was a let down of a weekend all right, the Steelers game was decent enough, the injury to Palmer was a shame.

Home teams in the playoffs with the bye week traditionaly walk by. I dont have the stats off hand but they make a very compelling argument to go with all 4 teams playing at home.

However that doesn't account for Tom Brady and the Patriots. They're the only team that will win away from home. Watch Peyton pick that Steelers D apart although they might cover the spread, same for the Skins as the spread is pretty big there too.

I suppose it was a long shot thinking the Jags would beat the Pats, but I was very disappointed with the Giants. They were just awful!

Anyway I hope to do better this weekend.

Washington at Seattle 9:30 p.m. (Seattle)
New England at Denver 1:00 a.m. (New England)

    Sunday, Jan. 15
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis 6:00 p.m. (Indianapolis)
Carolina at Chicago 9:30 p.m. (Carolina)

Well I'd say a chance of a pro career has stopped for him now. What a clown!

Yeah I reakon they'll have a big backlash after being so rubbish last week especially if they can get Portis fully fit. Also, reckon the Seahawks are overrated. Probably gonna be totally wrong but who knows
