    Georgia were pathetic.

Florida State to hold Robinson in check and win this one 20-13.

    USC will blitz Texas 40-24.
Hmmmm...Penn state in 3rd over time. I fell asleep eventually, couldn't keep the eyes open so late. Great stuff in a weird kind of way, turnovers were the name of the game.
The above is all opinion and based on personal experience. Unless stated otherwise it is not a dig at anybody, well probably none of you lot.

It's difficult to predict who'll win any of the games this weekend. The Pittsburgh-Cincinnati match should be another close encounter with each having beaten the other away from home in the regular season. I think that the Jags might shock the Pats and beat them, while the Giants home form, 7-1, (their only home loss being a 21-24 defeat to the Vikings in Week 10) should see them edge past the Panthers.

    The weekend's games:
    Saturday:
9.30pm Washington Redskins @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1.00am Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots

    Sunday:
6.00pm Carolina Panthers @ New York Giants
9.30pm Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals
As long as the Redskins i be happy enough

My own predictions for what its worth:

Tampa Bay, New England, NY Giants and Pittsburgh for the wild cards.

I'll go with USC tonight but i really hope its a close game. A blow-out would be a huge disapointment either way.

FSU should have taken the upset last night. They missed the extra point and gave away a safety in regulation. After the opening drive they had PSU in fits with their speed and this was all without AJ Nicholson.

USC in California, try again Texas because Vince Young has no chance tonight.

Ha ha, your on a roll bud, Young no chance - no chance of ever being tackled by a USC defender. What an incredible display, the guy made a fool of all and sundry last night. Over 200 yards rushing and over 250 passing just himself, 3 TD's, a 2 point after a touchdown, a lateral pass to set up a TD. Over 1000 yards rushing and 2500 passing for the season. Good grief.

41-38 in the end, Young TD 18 seconds from the end. Incredible.

Well I won on WVU and FSU so I suppose 2/3 is not bad.

Once again 4th and 2 and if LenDale White gets it then its all over. Reggie Bush - wtf are you trying to lateral that ball for? And as for Vince Youngs lateral

He's much quicker than college players and looks now like he'll be a top 2 pick. I still dont fancy him as an NFL QB though, those boys are far quicker than USC and his weak arm will get exposed.

I thought Penn beat FSU? You said FSU would win it....only being pedantic, but that makes 1/3....

Backed them +10.5. They could well have pulled off the upset there.

Nice one, spend it well. I suppose the same bet on the Pats this weekend would be worth doing? Or is it?

-8 is a bit of a reach especially with bad weather shceduled for New England. This makes it a ball control game and usually reduces total points scored as field goal range is reduced.

I like the Giants -2.5 against the Panthers. I reckon Eli steps up and exposes Carolina whose offense is not as good as it appears. DeShaun Foster made his name on 2 games against the awful Falcons run D and Smith is their main receiver - I dont even think they have a TE.

The Redskins +2.5 could well barge into Tampa and take that one. They run the ball well enough to keep the Bucs off the field and Simms will be on the floor all day.

    Sounds good!

I'm going for Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, NY Giants and Pittsburgh.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

I think New York, New England and Pittsburg will win. The Redskins - Buccs game is harder to call.If I had to choose one, I think I would go for Washington.Hopefully it will be half as good as the match they played earlier in the season. With regards New York...they looked solid against the Raiders last weekend, I think they could go far.

I hope the Raiders get their act together for next season
