Shamrock Rovers midfielder Conan Noonan and Accrington Stanley defender Connor O'Brien have both been named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for the first time ahead of the friendly double-header against Croatia Under-21s and England Under-20s.

Right-back Connor O'Brien (20) is being monitored by Wigan Athletic, after 50 senior appearances for his home town team, Accrington Stanley of EFL 2.
