I havent seen this posted up anywhere but the French side has been named for the Faroes match, from football.guardian.co.uk

Possibly, but that looks like a 4-3-1-2 formation, with our wingers, I can't see Domenech playing that formation against us

what the difference between 4-2-3-1 and the 4-3-1-2 formation ?

4-2-3-1 has two holding midfielders, 2 wide wingers and a player "in the hole" behind the main striker, it's probably more accurate to describe it as 4-2-2-1-1

4-3-1-2 is four across the back, 3 central midfielders, one player "in the hole" and 2 strikers.

Basically in 4-3-1-2 the midfield 3 play further up the pitch than the midfield 2 in 4-2-3-1

walking into an English pub and asking them to switch the England match
off so that I can watch Ireland!!! However the are one or two Irish pubs
which should be screening it.

pain in the arse sometimes, the amount of times i have gone into an 'irish' bar in glasgow in the hope they would show ireland instead of scotland

. Generally i get a strange look, which i follow with a snappy " well you're SUPPOSED to be an 'irish bar...."

Will be heading out early tomorrow to make sure i find a pub in time that is showing it.......

Glasgow is in my experience one of the worst cities in Britain in trying to find a place to watch Ireland games. Most "Irish" bars will show Scotland games instead. Waxys normally shows Ireland games when Scotland are playing. I watched the Swiss game here when Scotland were playing. Decent atmosphere that night too. It might be the best bet for tomorrow. I'll probably be there, so if you hear someone shouting at the screen with a Brummie accent - say hello

yeah, me friend and i stormed out of failte in a rage one night, 5 mins before kick-off after the barman said the scotland game was on....

went to molly's, same craaap. game had started and was in no mood to keep searching and getting refused....

I'll look out for ya in waxy's. 'i'll be the nervous wreck, crying and screaming at the tv screen....

As Far as I know the Tollbooth (Glasgow Cross) always shows Irelands matches, shows all the gaa as well if you're interested.

cheers junior, but i would go there in desperation after trying all the other pubs, but i try not to as it is very small, is on the edge of where the east end sort of starts

, very smoky

and all these old men start talking sh!te to you and interrupting the game

I watched gaa in there once as well as an irish game but would prefer a bigger place (so not as smoky), plenty of screens, waxy's is ideal. have watched gaa in molly malone's recently, they have started showing it.

I've just found out that an Aussie style pub called 'Walkabout' in Nottingham
on Friar Lane will be screening it

Good on the Aussies! They love their sports, they will be showing the England
match too but it's a big pub with loads of screens and two seperate areas
so it should be good, best news I have had all week.
I will getting a few pints of Aussie lagar down too
