Duff, Keane et all should have a field day if this happens.
Silvestre is not even in the squad
if Thuram is not able to play tonight, It 'll be replace by Squillaci

Crap we'll just have to make do with Boumsong then. Hopefully he'll play another stormer like he did for Newcastle against Utd a couple of weeks ago. What's Squillaci like?

Sebastien Squillaci is a 25 years old defender who plays for monaco; he is very good in the air and sometimes scores on corner kicks.
with his club they've done an awful start of season this year.
    Allez LIlle OSC!!

Fook it, a full strength squad and a home tie - if we ever have expectations of beating a team that individually is better than our own then it should be on night's like this... every man, woman and child in green at the match tonight should be on their feet for the 90 minutes and hoarse by the time they leave the stadium tonight.

    Ireland expects.

Genius! Now I see how he got the French job.

Our record in Lansdowne Road for competitive games is cause for optimism no matter who we play, but there's no doubt we'll need to step it up considerabley on our previous performances especially if France are getting closer to their best.

I'm hopeful rather than optomistic following our performances against over the last couple of years in competitive matches against resonably good teams...

Given the weekend's results this is now the group game that so far we can most afford to LOSE. On that basis, defeat should hold no fear & the players should go out looking to kick ass. I fancy Ireland to win mainly because I'm partisan but also because our whole package isn't as inferior to their whole package as many think & it's WELL within our capability.

The only thing better than an Irish win would be an Irish win caused by a master stroke by Brian Kerr. The guy's due a break, from me as much as anyone else. Good luck Brian & the boys in green.

yeah, looking at the table both france and ireland can lose but then go on to win their remaining games and qualify.

I hope kerr gets a break in this game, he deserves some luck, everyone wants him to fail and its sickening. English almost.
