Sometimes we both wear home kits, sometimes not. Maybe the ref decides?

I see tickets for the women's cup final in Tallaght are priced at 20e. I am sure they will do deals for clubs/juniors etc, but would 15e be enough if they hope to attract some neutrals. Tickets have been great value since the final has been at the Aviva. I purchased a premium level one last year and found it good value, however for neutrals price does matter i am sure. Smaller crowd takes away from the 'occasion feeling'. We will know at 12pm anyway.

Would the fact there's no Dublin club in the final dissuade the casual neutral fan base in the city from going?

Our great run of form seems to have come too late to actually reap any rewards.Maybe well get Europe, will be a very good finish to the season if we can.
There was huge hype for the semi final. Tickets sold out in less than an hour

At this stage Drogheda is just a suburb of Dublin. So we could count them as an honorary Dublin team

I suppose recent Ruaidhrí Higgins comments about RTE pundits being bias and mainly Dublin based would not endear him to the casual Dublin LOI fan!

Tickets are flying out at our end. Look closer at the map. Plus lots of the premium seats taken at the neutral side from Derry support too.
As Irishmen we dilute our sense of nation by depending on the English to bring us our balls

Tickets do seem to be going well in that end of the ground.

Over 20000 tickets gone already, should be hitting well over 30k you'd think with that strong start to the sales....

Think Derry have sold just shy of 15k already. On track to smash the over 20k from 2022.

If Derry bottle the league run in tickets sold and attendance will differ, if Derry win the league there will be a good surge and push the record crowd for the cup final. Drogheda's potential play-off also could have an impact though ye wouldnt be too worried about them and could nab 8th yet. I actually think Drogheda will win the cup either way, just the way the draw has gone, the way they have added goals to their side last 1/4 of the season - feels name on a trophy stuff. Or maybe its that you could see Derry being runners-up in league and cup....

Drogheda winning the cup and dundalk getting relegated in the same season would certainly taste oh so sweet to those of a claret and blue persuasion in Louth

You projeting a wee bit PC? What is seldom is wonderful for them Im sure and they can always take out another billboard in Dundalk as celebration. It would take 22 or 23 something years worth of back to back leagues or cups (or a clatter of doubles) to balance the books *cough*....unless some version of Dundalk FC has to start from scratch

That’s good to hear. I was basing my comments on what ltfc_2004 said. Also good to hear that Drogheda sales for the final seem to be going well.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

I would say the opposite. Shamrock Rovers fans are far more likely to attend now that Bohs aren’t in it, for example.

Of course a consideration is which team finishes 4th. I’d imagine a lot of Pat’s fans would go for a look to cheer on Derry if it’s them.

Seeing a figure of 20k already being sold is a great sign, definitely should be hitting 30k.
I phoned the speaking clock to hear a voice speak, it said - "At the tone you will be very much alone"

Im 100% more likely to go as its Derry v Drogs.
Depending on who finishs 4th (including us) there could be a lot at stake.
The idea of being in the stadium watching bohs oick up the cup would be a bit hard to stomach.
20000 sold already is fantastic imo for what wouldnt be seen as a two "big teams" final

The novelty once in a generation game would be a big draw for Drogheda folk and Derry have always had a great following from the city so I dont think the big teams things is the main factor in this years potential crowd.

Well it is already making my 20-25k estimate look quite frankly ridiculous.
