    Brandywell sold out tonight.
The club shared this video from the LC in 2018.
    https://www.facebook.com/share/v/H3qvXzHN6GibhyKD/

Always strikes me watching older videos how empty grounds are. People can complain about the quality, which I don't buy, but there's demand here for the league.

Also, the match finished 7-3. Little chance of even a quarter than many goals tonight, I'd say.

For all the criticism this season they could be on for a double.

Drogheda will be ecstatic with that. Best possible draw they could have got. You’d have to expect them to go through. The other semi is a toss up, but I’d slightly favour Derry.
Out for a spell, got neglected, lay on the bench unselected.

Best of luck to Wexford. As a follower of senior soccer in Limerick for many years my latest trip to Ferrycarrig turned out to be an embarassing one but one could only admire the home teams display in the first half so good they could have scored 6/7 .Its quite obvious some of this Treaty team have stopped playing for the manager, and the way they setup you could see no belief at what they were at,some are clearly not fit as well which at this level is disappointing. The managers interview afterwards to the clubs media is quite honestly..bizzare.Big games ahead for Wexford ,on this form will give any team a run for their money.

With Bohs and Derry drawn against each other, will the cup final attract even half the crowd of last year?

I'm all aboard the Drogs for the cup train.
Doherty would have to get manager of the year if they were to win.
Can I pesume the play off game would have to be rescheduled should they get to the final, although this is the FAIlures association we're talking about here so they'll probably schedule it for the same day!

I think technically the playoff final is Friday and the Cup final is Sunday - so they could play both...!

It could be Wexford v Bohs in the Cup final and play-offs, on the same weekend!

A few years back the fixtures list had an alternative playoff date if a team also made the cup final. The fairest move might be to postpone the promotion-relegation playoff to the following Friday.

Could be convenient. Play one game. Cup winners get relegated!

Would defeat the purpose of the cup final being the curtain-closer/season finale.

Would Drogs bring a big crowd for cup final? Or will it be a big fall off this yr vs recent years?

That happened in 2002, Dundalk relegated the week before winning the cup, beat Bohs 2-1, who were going for the double.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

Well for clarity - my solution for Wexford v Bohs in the Cup final and the playoff final is to play one match. The winner takes the Cup and the European spot - and in return gets relegated.

(Not necessarily a serious suggestion. But it sounds fun!)

As much as I'd love to claim an extra league title, Bohs weren't champions that season. Bohs won it the season before and the season after. 2002 league title race was... interesting and, depending on who you talk to, open to interpretation!

That cup final wasn't fun either, not for me anyway.
