    Kelvin Flanagan...........just kidding !

If they had any sense they'd sign Andy Myler -City need a proven Goalscorer ( and a target man like him might take the pressure off Mulligan ).

Lets hope Reynolds isn't the biggest signing before next season.

Looks like be fine squad or average midfield players but can't see him being the great creative hope players we badly need.

Cork manager Liam Murphy said: "I've no comment. He's a Longford Town player."

Murphy has returned from the USA and will spend the rest of the week assessing his player options ahead of next season.

There's talk of signing John Frost (think it's John anyway) from Waterford alright.
    He's the handy left back.
There's been rumours of this for the last few seasons but I believe there is foundation in the story this time.

Frost was supposed to be the next great thing in the league a few years back and he doesn't seem to have done much since. We already have hoggy, no need for anyone else.

We dont need Frost, I dont know much about Reyonlds. I feel our priorities should be, sign Billy Woods immediatley as he is a natural replacment for O££IE. Also a good striker, who has a proven goalscoring record.

A new manager would be nice aswell (we can always dream)!!!

seeing as Rico has left Rovers, i would imagine Billy may be that bit easier to target now too...

Apparently Billy Woods is thinking of staying with Rovers.
Rovers seem to think that moving to Tallagh and the UEFA Cup game will bring in lots of revenue and more support. They have offered BW a payrise!
(This is from my new found rovers fans in Dublin!)
One may smile and smile and be a villan!

What are you saying? If an employer offered you a better job with better pay would you turn it down?
Do you think that once a player has lined out for Cork City that he is not entitled to play for any other team? What about all the players who left their clubs to sign for Cork City?

I think that as Corkonians, we want a team full of Cork born & bread players, or at the very least, Munster players, ALA Barcelona and Catalan players. It really hurts us when one of our players joins another team, but especially a Dublin one, hence Morley has never been fully forgiven by some fans at the X. This is also the reason why Jimmy Mulligan hasnt been fully accepted with Cork yet, even though he's been here 2 years now. Olli€ was an 'honorary' Cork Man, thats why it hurts so bad that he went to $hel$ of all clubs.

If players are sold by the board, well then thats the clubs choice, not theirs, but if they just 'down tools' and leave to Dublin...
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

That's right! Don't let anyone who can't prove that all four of the grandparents and both parents were born and lived all of their lives in sight of the goldie fish near the club

Fair point, it does hurt, but I still can't blame the guy for doing it. With another manager I might feel differently though.

Being a $hel$ fan your bound to take O££LIE's side considering he chose ye over us. I feel he should have shown more loyalty to the people of Cork who accepted him as one of our own.

Yeah, but Liam Murphy has consistently shown that he is loyal only to his mates in the team and has shafted a number of loyal city servants out of the club for it- Ollie can't be blamed for wanting out.

LOL! No in fairness Jim he has a point, at least in as much that a large number of City fans do feel like that. Personally I don't give a rats ass where a city player is from once he gives 100%. There is that kind of cork "us against the world" attitude, particularly with regard to Dublin which may be many people's motivation in wanting Cork players- but you only have to look at the likes of Dave Hill, Kelvin Flanagan or Noel Mooney to show that adopted Corkmen are every bit as good as true corkonians.
