Nah, I think tomorrow we should just be quiet and respect it and then raise the roof with our own anthem.
What happened in Paris was spontaneous and well meant, I don't think it's something that should be/could be repeated.
and the anthems are played, do you think the Irish will be as vocal for the French one as they were in Paris??
Something tells me we shouldn't be...but its such a great tune will the fans be tempted to join in??????![]()

Cork City: Making 'Dream Team' seem realistic since 2007.
And it probably only worked coz we we're on their turfsinging along with their anthem.Wouldn't be the same.

singing along to the opositions anthem is disrespectful.
typical stupidity one would expect from olé olé daytrippers
Singing along is disrespectful ?? No whats disrespectful is the Scotish " best fans in the world " booing the italian anthem on sat and the english and welsh trying to drown out each others anthem . What we did in Paris was spontenaous and not meant as anything but a bit of fun ... get over it ... what we need tmow is to raise the roof for our anthem for once !
it might have been intended as respectful.but its clueless
Clueless how ? were we booing the anthem or whistling like the scotish , english and welsh at the weekend ? no .. we sang along with there anthem , god that really is disrespectful ....
I don't think we'ill be booing their anthem...but I doubt if we'ill be singing along with it either.
That said, it will be a cauldron of animosity. The crowd will become a bastion of invincibility and we will not be beaten.

In order to set the tone for the evening we should sing our anthem with gusto and as loud as possible. That will set down a marker and hopefully it will be carried through for the rest of the game.
Singing the French anthem would, in my opinion, only be of benefit to the French.
If people don't know the words they should 'hum' the tune so that everyone makes some effort to create a noisy atmosphere.
We have to play our part aswell if we're gonna win this game.
zinedine.its bloody stupid and pathetic.im not arguing anymore about this so reply all you want
some people give in so easy ... ah well your " point " was silly anyway so it was a bit easy for me ...Originally Posted by anto eile
