This afternoon, Kerry field their first-ever womens' team when the Under-17s take on CK United at Mounthawk Park. As with the men's XI, the aim is to build through the underage ranks for a number of seasons, before ultimately joining the senior leagues, perhaps when the second-tier is established by the FAI.
