Not an end. Just a corner section of the stand you see on TV. TBH I'd say the view is pretty poor as there's no height and you're right in the corner.

yeah. about 200-300 seats opposite the main stand. completely segregated. you'll have to enter the Cross from the St Annes end

We have Foley suspended.....kinda our workhorse in midfield but Steve Feeney will probably come in for him.
Sean Flannery is a doubt but may play with a face mask as he is nursing an injury.

I'm too lazy to look, I'm sure its on here already but can someone give me the best directions, traveling by car, from the Limerick road (N20 I think,) direct to the Cross. Thanks.

Its all on www.corkcityfc.ie anyway !!
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Heaven help us. That sounds like it was before the flood. How in the name of God did the club pull itself up from that lowly position? It must be wonderful for Derek to be playing now in front of several thousand.

Keep driving until you reach the river. Not the Lee, but the river of CCFC supporters who will all be heading in the one direction.

FPB, there was NEVER a City game at the Cross with only 29 in attendance. The lowest I ever remember is the LC 1/4 final against Limerick a few years ago, with a crowd of about 300.
A sh*tty, wet, dark Sunday afternoon, a loss to Limerick who were rock bottom of the 1st division, just about as depressing as it gets, but not quite as bad as 29.

STADIUM: Turners Cross, Curragh Road, Cork

DIRECTIONS: The number 3 bus (cost €1.20) stops outside the ground. If travelling from Dublin, take the Jack Lynch tunnel and follow signs for Turners Cross. Parking near the stadium should be easily obtained but it may prove difficult if Munster are playing at Musgrave Park on the same night.
    ENTRANCE PRICES: Adults: €13, U-18 and OAP's €5.

Yea, thanks a lot. Are you saying I should detour to Dublin.
Do you not get anybody coming from the Limerick direction?

Actually the directions are just as good for someone coming for Limerick!
When you get in by Dunnes in Blackpool, turn left and go right up the hill, instead of going right into city centre.
Follow the ring road all the way around until you come down the big hill to the Silversprings Hotel. Turn left at the bottom and go down to the tunnel, then follow the directions as above. Traffic can be murder on Friday evening in the city centre, so best to avoid it by going this way.

no offence, but we've had a lot bigger games this year, and with the return leg of the UEFA cup coming uo next week, I think a lot of people will be more focussed on that. I'm looking forward to it alright, intrigued to see sligo again- haven't seen ye since Nicky Reid was in charge

Pity we are used to playing cup ties in front of 39,000 fans in Cork and have never lost a FAI Cup match in Cork.
