I think the price definitely took a hit on the attendance. A lot of newer fans of Pats are parents with young kids that got good deals on season tickets, I know of a couple and can understand more generally if people in that boat (or just your average floating fan) weren't willing to pay upwards of €70 to get in. Thought it wasn't great from the club really, was weird to see them talk about 7000-8000, that stands were or were near sold out etc when they clearly weren't. Not only have we had much better crowds for European games in Tallaght previously, but even domestic games in Richmond the last few seasons.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
27 euro in for a non group stage euro game, that is far far too expensive, end of. Then again Pats charge over 20 for away fans with the booking fee for league games.
I would have priced last night at 20.00, the extra 7 is just plain greedy, if they managed to get to a group stage - a lot of work ahead for that, possibly 25.00 but 27.00 last night is ridiculous, imagine a couple for example, 54.00, or a Dad and his son over 18, same price, add in travel, a drink / coffees each before and burger or chips, that's heading up to 100.00, was there even concessions for u18?

30 to 40 Cobh fans in Tralee. One of the bigger away crowds this season.
Fair play to St. Pats fans, they travelled in great numbers this afternoon, considering they've had European trips recently.
I'd say 450 strong, maybe even pushing 500 away fans.

Is that a record for Sligo Rovers as an away fixture result?

No Ucd fans in away section in Tralee last Friday night. Think that's the first time iits being empty in our short existence.
