Drogs to spring an opener win courtesy of having the leagues canniest manager.
Wofuss to edge o donnell closer the exit door with a decisive win
Two **** managers at DP oversee a poor contest, bohs edge it courtesy of having better players.
Galway get a dose of reality from a good pats team, easy away win
Waaaaherford bored senseless by duffs anti football, chinned by a last minute scaldy set piece, another away win
Almost there folks. I can almost taste the undercooked battered sausages and flecks of spittle flying out of Gary Deegan's beard.
Good luck to you all*.
*with all the associated caveats of course. I hope all your teams suffer badly and in certain cases spectacularly so, but that you yourselves enjoy the season, and the appropriate air of superiority we should all feel as fans of the greatest league in the world.
I even hope marinobohs has a good time, wherever he is.
Does anyone who follows Galway have any info on tickets. It seems very strange that home or away tickets aren’t available less than a week before the season kicks off.
Ollie and John caulfield were at the match last night running the rule over Pats. Any word on Foresters injury last night? Seemed to be knee but at least he walked off.
? Galway United advise all HOME supporters that we are expecting the St. Pat's game to be a complete sell-out
We strongly encourage home supporters to arrive early at this evening's game against Wexford to advance purchase St. Pats match tickets from 6PM ?

Pats will get their allocation and they will distribute them.
Daly didn’t seem too concerned about the knock in the post match interview.
Tickets were on sale to season ticket holders for the past few days. Anyone can buy a ticket in person tonight at the friendly against Wexford. Pat's, at a minimum, will get 430 tickets, which I assume will be available from Monday. How many are ye expecting to travel?

It's a pity the capacity was reduced to 4,300. If it's any consolation, the LOITV stream is decent and the commentary team are good
Pats 450 tickets sold out in a couple of mins. Club official confirmed there were over 1300 pats season ticket holders on the site trying to buy tickets straight away once the email came in which caused it to crash/slow down for many. Thankfully managed to get mine but my god it was a stress. Gone are the days of showing up at any ground in the country and buying your ticket at the gate!

Very stressful these days. No wonder I invested in the LOI season pass this year. It’s a serious scramble now. Gone are the days of giving tickets away. It’s a pity the facilities in the league weren’t ready for the demand that has come.
Appreciate that it can be a struggle to get tickets for games, and while it would be great to have bigger facilities, it may be better that our grounds having 4500 or 5000 sellouts, rather than 7 or 8k capacities that dont sell out.
Country clubs can bank on Bohs, Pats, Rovers and I think Shels taking their full allocation of away tickets - that was pie in the sky stuff only 2 or 3 years ago.
