Yeah definitely nothing to do with Longford being in first division, because RTE really cared deeply for the first division as we all know...
They must be daft sure there's loads of grounds where the camera is that near and you can hear the obscenities from the crowd, sure that's what's great about it
Any game on Virgin tonight?

I was sitting in the stand that night and the abuse given
by the handful of Longford fans in there was shocking and made the newspaper article the following day all the more hilarious.
The female journalist that was among them, writing for a local paper, was as foul and abusive as any one of them. Have no doubt the 'elderly man' who's column appeared in the same newspaper, was of course totally coincidental.
Well I was just assuming as the same night I was watching the game from behind the town end goals and the Longford keeper was taking his time on a kick out. a fella a few meters away from me shouted words to the effect of "Just get on with it you tw*t" at the same time a women with a Longford scarf was walking past and she stood and froze said something like "thats atrocious" seemed to be waiting for an apology then walked on mumbling to herself when none came
As for the nastiness of Harps fans , unless you can tell my of any bigoted language, I d say you want to grow some thicker skin if you want to attend football matches or just about any sport events
