2226 at Waterford v Dundalk
Into the home stretch. Premier Division on course to beat the 2023 figure, but First Division is a certainty to be down, with 9 of the 10 clubs suffering a drop in average attendance from 2023.
Let's hope, for my attendance thread sake, that Dundalk pull through and it doesn't wreck the figures for the season.

Did many Limerick fans travel to Wexford v Treaty 1,063 ?
A bit worrying that a First Division with Cork included is down on average. Though the flipside is that if the PD is up without Cork this year, then next year should hopefuly be even higher.
The fact there's no clear/runaway leader has presumably helped PD attendnaces so far.
50 to 100 Treaty aka Limerick fans travelling to Wexford in an all ireland quarter final with only 1,033 at the match sums up how far off the radar LOI is outside of Dublin in terms of attendances
A limerick v Wexford hurling quarter final would attract 50,000 although a Limerick v Wexford Gaelic football quarter final might only get 6 or 7000.
Galway v Shamrock Rovers - 3,335
Actually looked a lot more on TV but obviously missing what is under the gantry. Lot standing up the old clubhouse end of the ground, presumably crowded around the new bar though.

It's getting to the point now that Terryland probably needs more spectator facilities, whether that's seating or terracing. The new bar is a great addition to the ground but it's location is a bit strange, right behind the goal. A small stand would have been more beneficial in that area.
It was definitely jammed on Monday there was no room for another 1,000 supporters.
The bar is a huge addition and far more viable than a terrace or stand. Great view from it too.
