I've lived in various countries - most of which you take it seriously when the police tell you to do something. But not with AGS. They don't even look the part IMO, and I think those new uniforms have made them look even less credible tbh. The vast majority of Gards are fairly small build/stature and cut diminutive figures. No wonder people don't take them seriously. If a Garda asks you to do something that you don't want to, you can just laugh at them and give them a bit of lip back knowing nothing will be done about it. Try doing that in London, north of the border etc.

I will agree on that, you go to Greece, France, Spain, Portugal and the cops are built better than athletes. AGS are a total joke, attitude on them stinks a lot of the time but like a good football teams standards are set at the top.

Harps attendances have gone back up a bit recently. Funny seeing as we were doing awfully. They were very good under the Scouse bluffer too. I've come to the conclusion that we just love the misery

We've always had crap attendances in the summer. Even when we were doing well, we'd struggle to get 600 or 700 during the summer months. Just getting back to normal now.

This was probably correct, but around the same was called out last Fri v Shels when there was clearly +500 more at it, and a much bigger away support. Friday and all that.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

I agree, same called out last week but clearly more people there on Friday. There must be some element of season ticket holders being included regardless, but less of them in attendance last night?

Decent home attendance for this fixture for Dalk under the current circumstances, Thursday night, league position and the general doom and gloom around the club!

Low crowd in Markets Field bolstered by about 50-60 Kerry fans.

Good to see Kerry able to bring that many to an away game, given they've not exactly set the First Division alight since joininng. A really positive sign
