Certainly is. A sign of the times for sure.

+ 4 at Shelbourne v Dundalk at AUL today, Pats manager Jon Daly and assistant, Stephen Kenny on the other side (there to watch his son - not sure if he featured) and what looked like another LOI manager as a hooded figure.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).

Carrigaline vs Treaty United was pretty much sold out. They stopped letting people in after kick-off saying there was no room.

No exact figure, but the Kerryman informs us that "about 400" were at Mounthawk Park last night:

400 is an impressive attendance for an early January run out. The MSC quarter-final in MH Park will probably be on the Friday of the February Bank Holiday weekend.

448 attendance was announce at Athlone-Pats on Saturday. That was my first time in Athlone since a pre-season friendly in 2020 which must’ve had about 70 people at it

Athlones crowds increased massively last season, went from around 300 to 850 on average. Not sure why, I think a lot of their supporters are still boycotting the club.

Presumably much like every other team, crowds will rally if there's a significant improvement on the previous season.

About 3/400 standing around the pitch I'd say, with over a half supporting Treaty.

Unusually for a junior soccer game in Kerry, today's FAI Junior Cup attendance between Tralee Dynamos and Trim Celtic is officially recorded as 50 - in truth, they did well to record that many, with Storm Isha in full force this afternoon.

They are unlikely to get more fans in cold weather. Maybe when it gets warmer, more people will come to matches.

According to the Kerryman reporter, they had to play through the storm, as FAI rules state that if the game were to be postponed for any reason, they would have had to travel to Meath for the re-fixture!

Was surprised that neither of the Lowths wound up with Kerry FC, unless they couldn't commit.

If a club calls off a game, they lose home advantage. Maree/Oranmore’s game on Sunday with Grange Vale in the FAI Junior Cup was called off due to the red weather warning, with the Cork side already on their way to Galway, but because the FAI called off the game, Maree/Oranmore have retained home advantage for the rescheduled game on Sunday week

Would imagine they be entitled to half capacity so that should be a given. Is Tallaght now 10k capacity?
