2010 in Finn Park, 5013 at Richmond
520 in Kerry
377 in UCD
400-500 at Cobh game, apparently.
The 520 in kerry is disappointing compared to last seasons kick off
4317 in the showgrounds. Bar the last 2 games of the league winning season biggest crowd we’ve had there for a league game in a long long time.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
The 4,317 attendance in Showgrounds is the highest attendance figure there since the end of the league winning 2012 season, when 5,621 were there for the Oct 13th game against St Pats, and then 6,097 against Shamrock Rovers on 26th Oct.
Sligo had an attendance of 4,248 for the opening game of the 2023 season.
You have to go back to 2013 for the previous time they broke 4,000 at a game, with 4,256 in attendance for a 3-0 win over Derry City on 6th May.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
Think we give 500 tickets
Great opening crowds by all clubs, Drogs only came bottom as their capacity is 2,100 or so, we were next at 3,122, but quite low away support so prob just about 3k home fans.
If 3,122 is the second lowest its not a bad base, I think Linfield in Irish League with the highest crowds get just over 3k most weeks.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
About 350 at TC for Cobh's, home/away game. Maybe 10/12 Athlone fans, while there was over 100 that travelled up from Cobh Town by bus. While it was a great comeback for the 3-3 result the weather was poor and the heavy rain was terrible.
If this game was in St. Colmans there would have been at least 1,000 in attendance.
