Thats seems like a fairly big fall off for Drogheda. I was concerned that Dundalk attendance would be significantly effected by the managerail appointment but fair play, its is reasonably consistant and and looked a full Bohs allocation taken up.

It's a bit of a dip all across the board there. Obviously 6pm kickoff doesn't help in the case of Harps, but disappointing figures this weekend so far.

Probably down to the first drop of sunshine in months.

Unsurprisingly, the Cork match next Friday is virtually sold out already - just a handful of stand tickets left, along with some in the East Terrace.

A sunny Friday evening always has the potential to impact on attendances. We’ll see this a bit more too as we enter the summer months.

I dont recall sunny evenings being an argument against summer football, summer holidays away but not good weather - especially after January nights in the sleet on evenings of old!

Great to hear, what's the capacity of the ground?

1,200, so roughly 120 away tickets for your lads.

Always been a thorn in the side of Harps! Soon as the good weather comes, the crowds get smaller, irrespective of league position or performances.

I like my GAA but I do find it ironic, if it was a GAA ground, they would have no problem squeezing in 5000 and no questions asked

I could be mistaken but that’s even lower than UCDs attendances this season. Sad to see. Good club Longford and a tidy stadium.

Nothing is going to hollow out attendances like propping up the First Division with zero wins with no threat of relegation. You're purely attending out of a sense of obligation and to make a financial contribution. You know you're setting aside 2-3 hours of time to travel to and watch something miserable with almost no chance of seeing a victory.
