That's the East stand gone as i would imagine there will be an element of seat kills at the South stand end. I am heariing 500 only being let in the new stand as a test run prior to Dundalk the following week.

Yeah Pats have said after this 500 there will be no more allocation extensions as it’ll be the East stand sold out so that’ll presumably mean seat kills on either end

North Stand is restricted to 500 as a test run so if Pats have the whole east stand that means capacity is 8500 and rovers would have to sell 6200 tickets as season tickets don't count. Can't see it selling out tbh. Great crowd from Pats

I reckon since it's a standalone fixture you could get a decent amount of neutrals who'll just fancy some live football.

    Should be a good game.

Will they have more away fans in the east stand now or are staying the same? Probably only relevant for Pats and Bohs and maybe Shels …..

I’d imagine it’ll be staying the same. Otherwise they’d have half a stand

id expect that Rovers will allow the whole East Stand which is 2500 seats for away fans if the demand is there with the exception of Bohs where the Guards would definitly not let it happen.
There is no recent history of any hassle between teams that would stop us taking the ticket sales and cash.
Even at that it would leave 7500 for Rovers fans which would be more than attended any game last year

I'm a bit disappointed that away fans won't be behind the goal.
And I know it's only the second proper four-sided ground in the league and I'm complaining!

No chance we’re gonna let any away team have a whole stand

Pats have sold 2300 tickets so I think that's a done deal

Is the Presidents cup a 50 50 split allocation on attendance. I know is usually a home game for one of the teams but it is more like a neutral game.

We’ve sold out the entire East Stand for next week’s President’s Cup Final against Shamrock Rovers meaning we’ll be taking our biggest away crowd ever to @tallaghtstadium to cheer the boys on

Looking forward to an unbelievable atmosphere next Friday

No it’s not. Never has been in any venue it’s been in either. I think the only realistic times you’d see a potential demand for anything close to 50% away allocation for the presidents cup would be any combination of pats/rovers/bohs
