Alan Reynolds ???

Is Alan Reynolds a Longford Town player, or is he on loan from Waterford United? According to a local hack it's the latter, but I thought Longford paid a fee for him last summer.

AFAIK he's a town player, there was thought that there was a fee for Rennie, but popular belief is that the fee was paid for Alan Kirby and thus alan is still under contract. That local hack was maybe mis-led by the fact that Rennie is training with the blues.

Others would give you a more definate answer tho....

I thought that Kirby was the free, but a fee was paid for Reynolds. Either way, in the aftermath of Cahill's switch to Shelbnourne, the hack mentioned Reynolds as a possible signing 'now that his loan spell at Longford is up and he's a free agent' or words to that effect.

A Fee was paid for kriby & also so the cheating Waterford board would drop their compliant that the town done Waterford out of 2.5K even though Waterford done LTFC out of 3K( in the Cup last year). As far as I know Rennie was out of contract & he signed for the Town. But he is a Town player.

I'd never include Rennies name in Cahills breath tho....

Interesting. What about that bald bloke who played for Longford who did Waterford out of a place in the final by taking up Olympic Diving in the penalty area! Notaro or something wasn't it? I wish unpleasant things on that fool. Wait, doesn't he play for Dublin City now.....excellent!

Didn't he dive for a peno in original game as well as the replay or am i confusing myself. The one at the RSC was defo a dive though.

Yeah, he fell over a blade of grass in the first game at the RSC. Couldn't believe the referee fell for it. The winning goal in the replay was another dodgy penalty to say the least, can't remember if it was Notaro or not that time though, although I thought it was someone else. Notaro's protege no doubt!

The peno in the replay was a clear handball - you must be the most bias fan every or just fookin blind..... Or where you to busy throwing stones at Town fans to notice?
Defo div in the first game by the bald truck drivin man though.....

Ah its OK Macy calm down! You're right, I'm the most biased fan ever. Naw, the second peno was slightly more of a peno than the first, only slightly mind. I'm just p****d off with the first one, that one renders every other penalty Longford ever gets against Waterford a miscarriage of justice! Anyway, I wasn't at the replay, and my right arm isn't strong enough to lob stones all the way to Longford from here.
