    Amenities near League Grounds/Venues

What grounds or venues in the league offer the best facilities in or around the ground during a league game?
I'm really just talking about good pubs or places that you can get food/drink before and after a game.
Just as a quick reference, Turners Cross has a good number of pubs near the ground, the Beer Garden and the Corner Flag are popular while McDonald's and Lidl are very close as well. All within 5 minute walking distance.
What about other grounds/venues around the country?

Top of my head to kick things off from my trips to Inchicore McDowells is always the bit of craic for a few early pints!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?

There's a pub next door to Finn Park and another six or seven within a five minute walk. Same for takeaways.

Being a Longford fan I guess anything within a 2 mile radius of a ground is good for you

Yeah it’s grand on match nights. The Saint down the road is good for craft beer. The Black Lion is the best run pub in the area and has a food menu. As for grub, there is a new sit down Indian called Kari that looks good, then lots of take away Kebab house , two chippers , pizza shop and a few Chinese. The transport links are great we have the LUAS & G1, G2 & 13 from the city centre.

Although the 'real home' of Drogs supporters is Mother Hughes pub, just a bit further from the ground...

At Derry City the nearest to the ground is the Bluebell bar which has Barrs Takeaway and a corner shop nearby. Up the hill you have 3-4 pubs, the Oak Grove a real Derry pub but friendly. City Centre not far too.

At St Pats There's a new brewpub at the crossroads heading towards the City, can't remember the name... No shortage of options there though

Bohs again you're spoilt for choice. Back page i know does pub food.

Shels The Cat and cage is good for different beers, food bit pricey though. few takeaways on the main road too.

Doesn't seem to be anything near Kerry, there's a burger place about 10 mins walk i found and almost all the pubs in Tralee Centre?

Judging by the directions there I think you’re referring to another spot but there’s also Rascals Brewing the opposite way (heading away from the city as you leave the ground about 5 mins walk away). Open about 5 years now. They've got a great mutually beneficial relationship with the club the last number of years with sponsorship and events etc. They also sponsored the LOI Central podcast this year come to think of it

Terryland's sort of in a secluded place, a good distance from the city centre. The Menlo Hotel is about 10m up the road from the ground though, with the Maldron Hotel just the other side of the Headford Rd roundabout.

Supermacs and McDonalds and Rockin Joes diner all very close to RSC on Cork Road. No pubs that near it. Norris Bar is main home fans pub about 15 minutes walk away on Slievekeale Road and pubs in city centre a similar walk away.

The Students' Centre on campus does food and drink; five minute walk from the ground. Or Farmer Brown's pub in Clonskeagh is 15 minutes' walk away, as is Ashton's

Not a lot near Wexford's current ground at Ferrycarrig. The Ferrycarrig Hotel is about three minutes drive away. The nearest village, Oylegate, is about 5-6 minutes in a car and has two pubs and a chipper, PJ's Diner, which has a very good reputation. Otherwise, you have to head into Wexford town.

With Bishopsgate you are in the middle of nowhere unfortunately Longford Town is 3 miles away and every amenity is based there!

Showgrounds has Mooneys pub and takeaway across the road. O neils is on the corner on way up about 4 or 5 munute walk. Railway bar beside bus and railway station. Two minutes directly down from o neils is Yacht bar. Another few minutes walk from the yacht and you are in town. All pubs will have loitv if you get too cosy.

Anyone have anything for UCD & Dundalk ?

Anything for Bray, Cobh, Athlone & Treaty ?

By the by how many clubs have a good clubhouse with decent facilities?

Anyone have a particular favourite food & drink experience from within a league clubs venue?

I hear Bohs do a great burger & chips at a good price!

Union 8 that place is called I think. It’s on the site of a restaurant that was open for a few years forget the name of it now but was something 8 aswell. I’ve never tried the new place. As for rascals the pizza in there is unbelievable. The beer is ok aswell as craft beer goes.

I’d recommend Donaghy's Bar not far from the train station. Lovely bit of grub.
