    Best Movie Soundtrack

Stop me if we've done this before, but by far the "Almost Famous" Soundtrack has to be the best one, followed by "Forest Gump" anyone else???

I always loved the taxi driver soundtrack, i think its aboslutely beautiful..

the Garden State OST is magic as well, some terrific stuff on it from the Shins and Zero 7 and Nick Drake on it..
Whatever it was I am sure it was better than my plan to get out of this by pretending to be mad. I mean, who would have noticed another madman around here?

I don't like Pulp Fiction. Alot of the songs on it really annoy me and yet everyone tells me it's great.

I think Lock, Stock is a really good one.

Vanilla Sky - lots missing off the OST release though.

As for scores, I loved the Village soundtrack from last year.

The Blues Brothers is another good one. James Brown and Ray Charles and the theme from Rawhide, all class.

The sound of assault rifle shots and shell casings tinkling to the ground in Heat is all I need. Never got to see it on the big screen though, it must've been incredible with a cinema sound system.

Ive been listening to the Garden State soundtrack for the last few weeks and have to agree its class. Hadnt heard of most of the bands until I saw the film but had to get the soundtrack as soon as Id seen the movie.

Most soundtracks from Tarantino's movies are up there too.

Ennio Morricone was a genius, and Giorgio Moroder was when he did Midnight Express.
