Think there's a bug in this - if you go via the icon and click in a url, nothing happens.
You can post the image fine manually via the img tags, but not via the link in the post menu
When entering the URL, remove the blue tick from 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' and see what happens.
Yep - that's done it. Not sure why you wouldn't want that box unticked mind!
