It's in UEFA, which is what counts, just like eg Israel or Kazakhstan.
While the "no two games in one city on the same night" rule has been in operation for ages. And I could be wrong, but when two teams both want the same night, I have a feeling it goes to a toss of a coin?
P.S. That chart you cite is seriously misleading if you imagine Paris is bigger than London, "agglomeration" or no.
Population wise most of it is. It’s split at about 10m in Europe and 5m in Asia

Im just hopimng that we keep it to 2 or less so the match is at least in theory up for grabs like the Celje one when it gets back to Tallaght whuich should ensure a full house and a good night
This is a huge step up particularly with how we have been playing this year , fingers crossed.
Byrne rather
Byrne was on the bench against celje so I'd say he's fit but not nesscesarily match fit. Gaffney was walking around the stadium but I don't know if he is fit enough for bench even. Doubt it
Byrne is fit but out of favour with Bradley so may not start.
Doubtful that Gaffney will start for Rovers again this season I'd say.
Mandriou is eligible and should hopefully make the bench.
As sbgawa said, if we can avoid a pummeling, then hopefully a decent crowd in Tallaght next week against quality opposition.
Byrne, Burke, mceneff, Towell, mandroiu pico, all on the bench.......that's some bench
Anyone know of any links for this evenings games?
Is the Pats match being streamed somewhere? There's as much chance of a positive result for either side tonight as there is of next summer being dry and sunny. But I live in sun-starved,sodden,windswept Galway with eternal hope of a few fine days arriving, and that's my outlook for the games tonight as well.
feckin' lashing over there... can they do it on a wet Thursday in Greece?
Poor Trevor Clarke, beset with injuries
