Absolutely hateful bunch. The antics with the "stolen" throw-in from a fake injury in the second half nearly sent the whole of the stadium into the river.

We were much the better side and Coote and Wood made such a difference late on.

Gannon was completely off the boil for whatever reason and hopefully he'll be back to his usual self next week.

Anyway, we won. That's all we can ask for right now.

The head is sore alright. But that's more to do with age. Had 4 pints and grub in The Strand House before the match and that was my lot for the evening and by God I feel like I've been out on the batter for a week!

Ahh here - Tier 8 or 9 of the English pyramid is seriously sh!!te uber-regional leagues. Fat old blokes playing with their knees strapped up etc. They're really not as low as that.

I have seen multiple people around the web saying Derry lost to amateurs, I don't think Bruno's are particularly good by any means, but people love to exaggerate for effect.

Their sporting director said they tried to sign Pat Hoban, but he was too expensive, so they're definitely throwing some degree of cash about, but I still reckon Drogheda would be able to give them a rattle in all honestly, I have absolutely no idea what happened to Derry.

    Its also just wildly inaccurate.

    ar·ma·ture
    /?ärm?CH?r,?ärm??CHo?or/
    noun
    1.
the rotating coil or coils of a dynamo or electric motor.
    2.
a metal framework on which a sculpture is molded with clay or similar material.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

What's worse is I corrected the spelling and somehow made it a new word

Are Derry and Shels getting a bigger slice of profits from pivoting their matches to a different streaming partner for Europe, or why aren't they using LOItv?

Is the rovers game included in the LOITV season pass? I know European games aren’t usually but cup games aren’t usually either as far as I know and I just saw today that they’re included in the season pass this year

Nah it cost a tenner, real shame Virgin didnt pick the game up,think it should be a worthwhile game to put it on the tele but obviously those in charge thought otherwise....

So the first round madness begins again. Ballkani of Kosovo, who reached the Conference League groups the last two years, have been taken to extra time by Santa Coloma of Andorra, who scored in the last minute to win 1-0 in Kosovo. Ballkani are down to ten men too

And Santa Coloma go through on penalties!

They had lost every one of their 17 European ties before this. So even to draw 0-0 - as they had been doing until injury time - would have been historic. Now their first ever European win has them one match win away from being the first Andorran side to reach the groups

That's unlikely to be their next tie against Midtjylland though...

That is crazy against a side who not only made it to the groups last year but had a good chance of getting out of that group.

Less than 48 hours to kick-off and still no streaming confirmed for the Shels match

Shels put out a message on X yesterday that they are still awaiting confirmation of streaming details as it is St. Joseph's as the home club who are responsible for control of the broadcast, but Shels communication over this has been conflicting as they originally stated on July 2nd in an email to season ticket holders that the away match would be available on LOI TV on a PPV basis
The Leinster Senior League needs a strong Bohemians

That's a strange one, most people here think the pendulum has slightly swung Rovers' way.
Vikingur didn't impress many here that much but they do have one of their best players returning for this game, easy to spot in midfield, bald-pated.

How many are SRFC expecting in for tonight, 4/5,000?
