I'm probably misremembering previous manager hunts, but I get the feeling there weren't so few genuine candidates previously (I'm not counting people who tell the newspapers they'd be interested in the job). At the moment it feels like Carsley or Lennon. Hughton is peripheral and I think that's about it.
So if Carsley declines and the Lennon interest is taken down after general public reaction, where does that leave us after three months? (And tbh given how quickly Kenny was let go, the FAI must have been considering other options before November)
