Interesting shout. Kennedy has mostly coached in his post playing career. When his first stint into management didn't work out because of COVID he went back to coaching for a year and a half.
Spent half a year shadowing the head of Ipswich's academy for six months before spending a season as assistant manager to Lee Bowyer.
Think the big issue with Kennedy is management will probably always be on his mind. Could appoint him next month and he's gone by the summer or after the NLs.
For your actual no.2 think you need someone you know will stick around. Think it's somewhat okay if you're no.3 switches. The big problem for Kenny was Andrews was a meh assistant and the likes of Barry and O'Shea were more like assistants than coaches for Kenny.
