I believe (and pray) so.
I know we all(well, most) want them to, but seriously, can Cork City get into the group stages of the Uefa cup?
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.

God
I really hope they do but I honestly cant see it happening. Prove me wrong Cork!.

Given the options you listed i'd have to vote Yes.
I believe we can do it but don't kow if we will.

Would love to say 'YES' but deep down I think they're fcuked![]()
Can they do it? Yes
Will they do it? Don't think so, but I hope they do

I think we can do it. Y not? I think if we get a good result over there we will. Fingers crossed anyway.

Id nearly hope you lose because if you win I think it
might cost you the league. Its going to be so close at the end
that all the extra games might swing it Derry's way!
Even though i have nothing against Derry I think Cork and especially
Damien need the league more!
we'll do it i think
this group of players are winners and the european arena is their stage, they were born to play in europe
life is random
That's what I was thinking too. So, which is more important for them? Winning the title or group stages of UEFA? I know which one I would pickOriginally Posted by hoops1

which one is that sligoman? has to be europe all the way...
but how many times have i heard people say dont listen to the media or we can do it, we will win, not thinking about stats or anything like that, just rolling off their tongue their hearts hope, only to get egg on their faces as usual.

I **** up all me pay,Watching footy on TV,
Just feed me more VB,Just pour my beer,And get my smokes, And go away
This is a team that CCFC can defintely beat. Cork have a lot of things in their favour,
The mentality of the team is right and so is the planning and preperation. Cork play good football and there is no substitute for playing football. They are top of the league. The away game is first. Slavia Praha are mid table at the moment and have got off to a mediocre start.
There isnt really anything that stands out as a major concern for CCFC (unlike Shels) and if they go and play like they can then they can defintely get through.
It has to be the league. I mean, unless you get really far in Europe then there's no point cos you still win nothing. Do well at home and you win the league and end the season with a trophyOriginally Posted by paul_oshea

For gods sake, born to play in Europe??? You do realise that they haven't a pigs ears chance of winning it don't you??? If Cork win the UEFA Cup I'll wear a Cork City jersey and one of Peadar's pink shirts!!!Originally Posted by James
Just take it one game at a time there, its far too easy to get carried away at this stage, remember we were in the same position last year!!! Just don't get too cocky!!!
To aswer the question, I don't know if they can do it, but I do hope so!
Sitting pretty!!!
I believe 100% that Cork will do it
Play like they did last night only with a bit more cutting edge up front and they can and will do it.
I know it's something you wouldn't want to say, but if Doyle was playing last night, Cork would have won by two clear goals. I hope O'Flynn is back to his best by the time this comes around.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
I think they can. Hopefully they will.

I do believe they could do it ,but more power up front is needed.I couldnt help but think if Kevin Doyle even stayed till the end of the season would we of got atleast 2 goals last night?
