So the story goes. As a Celtic fan I would hope the players were better men than that. Indefensible if true though.

Typical Lennon, as always all mouth. Very average player as stated above.

He shouldn't be talking like that at all even if he was baited. Bellamy allegedly did the same to a Clyde player last year in a Scottish Cup tie.

I see the PC brigade are out in force. 'Football player in wind up scandal' shock bleedin horror - It's a nothing story.

A Dunfermline Player provided the exclusive. Perhaps he should have concentrated more on trying to perform in the cup final. His team were a disgrace to their fans.

    insulted

Id be more insulted by the fact that lennon scored against them if i was him
    than by that Rubbish
or by the fact that they are so bad he only shots against them
I might be wrong here but was it Dunfermline who capitulated at Ibrox a few years back to hand Rangers the title
Me thinks the niggle is going on a while

By the way I am not backing up hoops' post.

H4E you never came back to me on the 27k crowd at your last Hampden SF (you know where you had said point out the last time Hibs hadn't sold out their allocation??) Anyway, I think the game is going ahead at Hampden, so will it be a sell out? I reckon 40k max................

You gave ONE example which proved nothing, didn't feel it needed a response. Couple of thousand Arab fans there. Any more examples of our poor attndance "in general" at Hampden, or is it just the one (that should keep you googling for a while )

As for Pars losing 6-1 against Rangers, as I said. Whats his point? Or is it the same as Celtic fans on their message boards blaming Hibs for letting Rangers win the league last season

    hibs4ever

my point is That straight after that game Sutton came out and basically
said that Dunfermline had cheated the league, there own fans and Celtic
    for being so spineless.
Dunfermline manager at the time hit back(cant remember what exactly
he said) and alot of the Dunfermline players were upset by these comments also.
So what we have now is a bit of history between certain players
Every chance Lennon gets to rub it in he takes because of this

I gave one example as that was all I could find, as I mentioned in the original post not too many Hibs appearances at Hampden to base your comment on? To save me all that googling, why don't you give me, just ONE example of your sell out crowds at Hampden, to back up your point?

I don't know what his point is. Im a Celtic fan, I post on message boards, I don't blame Hibs for Rangers winning the league last year.

CELTIC captain Neil Lennon has this afternoon responded to statements made about his own conduct during yesterday’s League Cup Final.

In the wake of the match one Dunfermline Athletic player claimed that Lennon had goaded opposition players about his wages and bank balance during the 3-0 win.

But this afternoon Lennon dismissed the accusations as untrue and expressed his own anger about his opponents’ actions.

“I am disgusted by some of the comments made, because they are simply not true” said Lennon.

“It is very disappointing that someone has tried to paint me in this way, particularly given some of the comments which were directed at myself during the match.

“I think people should take a close look at themselves before making comments about me being ‘unprofessional’.

“If I ran to journalists every time something was said to me, you could fill the papers every week. I am livid about it, but I know I am not going to let it spoil my week .”

Definitely, but large majority of Jambos seem to support him.

Manager til end of season: Valdas Ivanauskas. A man that Vlad the Mad has already sacked at Kaunas

Whats the odds of Vlad naming himself manager at start of next season?
