Oh dear. Hearts certainly have the Indian sign over their local rivals of late. That must have been embarrassing for Hibs' fans.
No mention of a certain team from Govan's travails then?
Good luck to Hibs on Saturday. Know a few of their fans and are sounder than some on here...

Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
After all the drama of today's events, with Green buying out the club, have Rangers been formally liquidated yet? When they are, interesting that they need four more clubs to block their expulsion, so no good relying on Celtic this time.
It was to be expected that Rangers were going to be blocked, but now Dundee United and Hearts have officially announced their intention to vote no. Motherwell have decided to let their fans decide, which presumably also mean no, and Inverness and St. Mirren are also leaning towards the nay camp, so looks like Ibrox will be hosting Division Three football come August.
Not if they buy out Cowdenbeath and enter the scots first div - or the more bizarre, buy out Bury and enter english football.
Interesting idea. Surely the likes of Carlise or Hartlepool would be better so that their fans wouldn't have to travel too far for their home games.

Except if they went to the likes of Colchester or Swindon, leaving disruption in their wake...
Can't see the Bury idea being a runner - if they were in urgent need of cash, Gary Neville would presumably be able to organise a consortium, while Man United's previous links with the club could also come into play. Another idea being floated is that Newco would be admitted, but then instantly demoted to the First as a punishment, though that seems less likely now.
Hibs have said they'll vote no now as well. With Motherwell almost certain to go for No.. it now seems Rangers need all the remaining clubs to go their way.
Meanwhile there is a criminal investigation being launched into Whyte's takeover.
Edit: Here's a good piece on the clubs' voting intentions. Looks like the Rangers newco have no chance of getting in the SPL. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/r...eir-own-words/
Second edit: I still suspect there'll be a fudge though.

I don't see why Rangers just don't enter the English League pyramid.
Presumably, you're being tongue-in-cheek here - the local Football League club puts most provincial English towns on the map, just as say, Longford or Ballybofey here would be best known due to their soccer teams. That said, if they bought MK Dons, it would solve two problems in one go.
Theres been mention of them buying Bury in England or a Scottish Div 1 club.

@frankieboyle: Rangers don’t do walking away. Because the away games are now hundreds of miles away.

I believe Bury have already issued a pre-emptive notice telling Rangers, old or new, that they can sling there hook and be off elsewhere.

Lennon thinks some of their titles should be stripped from them. That will make him even more popular with the bears.
