Thats the way a press release should be worded why did the club not do a release like this? Instead it was all fully blooded blaming Kerry FC blaming the media etc. Well done Stephen Henderson thats extremely well worded with some consideration towards both players and yet saying that he wont comment any further until the authorities complete their investigations.

STATEMENT - KERRY FC V LONGFORD TOWN FC

Following receipt of a report of a not seen incident in the League of Ireland fixture between Kerry FC and Longford Town FC on 8 September, 2023, an Independent Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned Longford Town player Viktor Serdeniuk with a suspension for the offence of violent conduct.Viktor Serdeniuk will now serve a three-match suspension in accordance with FAI Disciplinary Regulations.

Cleared on the accusation of racist abuse apparently. Doesn't mean nothing was said, but apparently no clear evidence that something was said either.

Doesnt change the fact that a certain club official who remains nameless issued a club press release that was so childish ,cocksure,cocky . Hope it is proud of itself as an huge amount of town fans are in uproar and disgust over this.
Stephen Henderson did a way better press release than the clubs and that says it all.

Ummm is this an expression of total contempt for the individual, not wanting to flag who was responsible for the press release or is it a gender neutral thing?

Its both total contempt for the individual and not wanting to flag who was responsible for the press release. I tackled that person directly after the final whistle and it denied the allegation to me .
