Sligo look bad so far,Shels well on top.....

And absolutely nobody is giving us the chance to finish third.
The talk is about Duff’s antics while on the pitch, it’s one defeat in the last eleven.
Keep that form against Pats & Bohs next and we’ll see what happens.
Little Old Shelbourne up to 5th. Love him or loath him, Duff has done a good job at Shelbourne. Not bad considering all the talk when he became manager that he would walk within weeks when the going got tough.
Derry's game in hand is against UCD. The title race seems to be down to a 3 horse race. Bohs challenging for 3rd. Shels and Dundalk battling for 4th. Nearly everyone is battling for something. Drogheda were the big winners this weekend. Their place in the top 8 looks more secure.
I dread to think what could happen if we lose in Cork next week.
Home wins for Rovers, Shels and dundalk over Bohs pats and derry would have a league table of 57 . 50. 47 . 47. 46. 46.
Obviously all the results could go the other way but potentially that level of closeness with 7 games to go is pretty mad tbh
Bray in 8th are 6 points off the playoffs in the First Division. 10 points between 3rd and 8th. Waterford will secure their playoff spot with a in over Treaty tomorrow, not that there's any doubt about their playoff spot.
Dundalk won't be finishing in the euro spots, so you can remove us from that (although the performance v Rovers deserved a draw, you don't score, way it goes), Derry / Pats / Bohs all in the mix, Shels are nowhere near it either, we will need a similar performance v Rovers away to Galway, then semi final who knows but one step at a time, and we could easily go out v Galway, but we will be favourites.
But euro hopes via league, no chance, we are looking like 5th all day long.

#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
Actually had a look at the odds on Paddy Power this morning and they have Rovers 4/7 to win the league. As we all know the bookies rarely get it wrong.
The one time I would disagree with that is with bookies in the UK that give odds on LoI. They really havent a clue, dont seem to take odds from their Irish counterparts and there are some nice little earners now and again. Think Rovers being significant favourites in Europe or Galway massive odds for promotion (previous years). But yeah its Rovers to lose so all there pressure is on them. Agree with the assessment of Dundalk, 5th will be it and no cup. O'Donnell has never settled on his starting 11 and tinkered with formation all season. Fair enough when you are building a side but it will cause the inconsistency that weve seen all season. That and some awfully sloppy lapses from winning postition (outwaighing the odd smash and grab) that have cost at least 6-8 points
The bookies have this one wrong.
We have been so poor for so long now, lucky to not be out of sight after the first half agaisnt Dundalk.
Both Bohs and Derry are better and if we dont improve i could see us losing both matches.
Praying obviously but our form is awful. Can this side produce a big win once more when we need it??? fingers crossed
A result for Treaty tonight against Waterford would be massive.
Think you are playing a bit better since Europe. Could have been 9/9 points only for an injury time equaliser in the Shels game. Did I hear on a podcast you won your last 5 league home games? 4 points ahead and players coming back from injury. Anyone else in the league would like to be in your position. You’ll just about do it as you know how to close leagues out. All of these reasons are probably why the bookies still have you favourites.
0-4 Waterford currently after 10 minutes, that's mad stuff!
Only 2-0, no?
2-2 now,Success Edogun smacked in a cracker....
