Some people sit on their high horse slagging off City for having to rent Turners Cross off the MFA. They foolishly believe that their club owns the ground they play in. There are very few clubs who actually own their ground. Rovers on the other hand, can't even rent a ground.

Think you've that arse ways Peader infairness - wasn't it Cork fans slagging Rovers for not owning their own ground that kicked this off?

Eh.... so what are we doing in Dalymount Park? At least i assume we rent it for our games, unless of course Bohs have decided to forego the rent and are providing it free of charge?

Yes and no. The wording of the original quote was
Sorry, this was a conversation for clubs who actually have a ground they can call home.
so he didn't actually mention owning a ground. However, every club has a ground to call home, whether they rent it from the Munster FA or another club so the arguments are pretty much redundant.

I think they've proven that they can rent a ground on numerous occasions!

Are you suggesting that we should call them the Rent Boys now?

Sounds of what exactly? You're anti Dub crap is out the window considering where Damien is from.

In my time following Rovers I've been to the x, bishopstown and musgrave park for league games.

We may have had to rent a number of grounds over the past 16 years but we are still called Shamrock Rovers.
You can all have a nice comfy seat in our new stadium in Tallaght and we won't even have to pay any rent.

How does anti Rovers make me anti Dublin?
Rovers don't represent anything that's positive about Dublin!
Why don't you go fly off the handle somewhere else!?
