It's Keystone Cops defending from Bray, and that being harsh on the Keystone Cops. Absolutely shambolic at the back. Ryan is in big trouble.

The Ian Ryan fan club (which had a strangely large number of members given what he had achieved in his managerial career) is dwindling by the week.

Great weekend for us. Aodh Dervin leaving has honestly made us a better team. Instead of one fella trying to do it all himself, we look much more together and balanced as a whole. Couple of decent additions in July too. Mon the Town!

Longford quietly getting their act together. I saw them pre season and they looked booked for 8th or 9th, but the last month has been much improved. And agree completely, Dervin leaving was good news, never quite got the fuss about him anyway, at best he's industrious, but technically very average and never going to pick a pass to unlock a defence

Longford were by far the better team. Once they sorted their midfield out there was no stopping them. Mohamed Boudiaf outstanding again off the bench. The big lad in central midfield for Bray, you can't play the ball through a fella with a touch like that. Can't give it to the full backs either or else Max Murphy will panic. While I've never really got the fuss about Ryan I was out there today for the third time this year and it does seem like a club with more problems than just their first team. I'm not sure that those running the club actually want or understand fans. I have no insight at all into the inner workings of the club but I wouldn't be surprised if was a tougher job than it appeared.

Ryan Kelliher deservedly put Kerry ahead. 1-0 at half time.

Yes, very poor. The OG was unfortunate and the fourth a cracker though. Enjoyable game, but switching over to Kerry-Cobh for the second half.

There were other chances, they are playing right through Harps with little issue. Dolya and Pierrot look like very capable players, but I haven't seen enough of Athlone really to judge.

Not the greatest of games between Wexford and Waterford in Ferrycarrig. Waterford were probably the better side but Wexford had a good chance to equalise in Injury time but Piper drove the ball over the ball. Waterford have some tidy players in possession especially the number 8 Baggley.

2-0, another Kelliher goal and Gaxha assist, but we won't count our chickens just yet!

2-2 in MH Park. Disappointing not to score a late winner but we'll take the point I suppose. Kelliher with two more goals. Great first season in the League of Ireland for him.

Harps make Athlone look like Real Madrid every time we play them,we’ve no business near the playoffs if we play like that again…..

Some comeback by Longford today after looking in trouble early in second half. As mentioned above the Bray defence will want to forget about the last half hour of this game. Few years since I have been to the Carlisle Grounds and I have to agree also regards the 'fan experience' that with such an excellent location, Bray Wanderers don't seem to make much of an effort to use this advantage.

Watched this match cause nothing else to do after coming home from a funeral, first half was a bit boring but second half was great, Kerry threw this away, 2 nil up and looking good value, Cobh got a slightly lucky bounce for their first but we all love them ones and again a bit fortunate but well taken second, draw on the whole was kinda fair, but my god lads yiz'd want to hoover some of the back rubber beads off of the pitch, made Dundalks pitch in 2009 look like wembley

Tbf, there were much much bigger issues within that dressing room than Dervin (if he was one at all). Mood around the place has improved ten fold after some departures in July and some really decent lads brought in. Credit to Hendo for been brave enough to wield the axe.

A steward came up and told a fully grown man not to wave his Longford flag again, looked like a robbo cop. I know Bray had the green street issues last year but that kind of OTT policing has killed any sort of atmosphere they had left in the ground. Saw another steward giving a Bray fan a hard time at the end over absolutely nothing. Pathetic stuff.
