Barmby defo scored for Liverpool against Everton, but I don't think he did the other way round.

Googled the hell out of the Jack and Bobby one. I think it might be a dud. Bobby managed Preston North End from 1973-1975. Alan Kelly(senior) played for Preston until 1973 and played under Bobby. Alan Kelly Junior played for Ireland under Jack.Originally Posted by joeSoap
Of course it could be a player in the Preston squad from that time who played for Middlesboro or Sheffield Wednesday under Jack??? Tough one...![]()
Mark Lawrenson is the answer did he not play for Preston when Bobby Charlton was there and also play Ireland under Jack
In Trap we trust
Correct. I remember Lawrenson saying somewhere than Bobby Charlton was a very nervous manager at Preston and his hand used to shake when reading out the team.
Alas Lawrenson's career under Big Jack was curtailed by injury. How we missed him in Euro 88.
Any takers on the Derbies question??
Just want to say I did not google that one either.

Question: Name the three footballers that have played, and scored, in the Manchester, Merseyside and Glasgow derby games?
Just figured this one out...
Is the derby one Andrei Kanchelskis?

Spot on Ted.......
One of the most interesting questions and wierd facts I remember was that at the end of the 2003/2004 season in England, the team which came Alpabetically first in the Premiership won the Premiership and the team which came alphabetically last in the League came last in Division 3and the team which came alphabetically last in each of the 4 league also came last in their divisions. Arsenal is the obvious answer to the first one but is wierd fact and makes a good quiz question.
either Yeovil or York City?
Yep, York but what about the other 3 teams which finished bottom of their leagues ? No search though Google now.
Wolves in the premier and Wrexham in whatever division they were in?

It has to be Wolves as there was no-one alphabetically below them in the Premier that year. Obviously WImbledon (as it was 1/3 before I said them and then it became 2/3), and as we already know York we are left I tell you with....
Wycombe Wanderers
So just as a recap, Wolves, Wimbledon, Wycombe, and York.
