Just wondering who people think will win
the race to be relegated next season?
Dublin City or Sligo?

Win the race to be relegated next season
Is just a better way of saying win promotion!
Same thing really
I know what your saying but I wouldn't have thought that either of them have secured promotion yet.Cobh are close, only a couple of points behind them and if either of them were to go on a bad run there is about 4 teams who could catch them.Even us!Originally Posted by hoops1

Yeah coz Rovers are doing a great job of teaching UCD and Bray a lesson on life in the top flight...Originally Posted by hoops1

Hate to go over old ground but Rovers with our 8pts
would be ahead of all 3 newly promoted sides
Who would occupy 3 of the bottom 5 places!
And yet UCD and Bray go on about how well they
are doing!
Ooooh sh!t, I forgot about the points deduction...my badOriginally Posted by hoops1

Of course ill be in Dlaymount
Though if its as bad as the game in Belfield
I want my money back!
My prediction for this season and next season is a Dublin City v SRFC playoff.
P.S. SRFC + 8 points is not ahead of UCD as of 6pm today. Come 9:30 UCD will be a further 3 points ahead.
Not that it matters
But we would have a 1 goal better goal diff
Fair enough, only temporaraly.Originally Posted by hoops1

If Sligo make it up I'd fancy them to stay-up for at least a season. They have the crowds to be able to afford to spend a bit on the team.
Harps and Waterford are both looking very weak at the moment. If either of them stays up it'll be a temporary stay of execution, so Sligo could easily stay up at their expense in 2006.
Hate to go over old ground myself but, why were Rovers deducted 8 points again ? oh yeah for trying to cheat.........Originally Posted by hoops1
10 points clear of the bottom spot, which we were supposed to occupy all season long, i think were doing pretty well. We have taken points off Cork, Derry, Shels, Longford which aint half bad considering we were the weakest of the promoted teams.
If false accounts had not have been submitted Rovers would not have got their licence, Rovers submitted to they would get there licence. That to me = CheatingOriginally Posted by northside hoop
We have had a good season back but we may have taken points off Longford, Shels, Derry, Cork but we ain't beaten any of them though they have beaten us. We have only 6 wins as well which ain't exactly great i think we are extremely lucky it's now 12 teams as if it were 10 we would struggle sure we would not have made it up. I remember Richardson going on last season how it should remain a 10 team league as that way you either sink or swim as a 12 team league gives teams comfort zones just above the bottom few and have to say he was right the 10 team league adds more of an edge for all teams but hey it's only an opinion each to their own
Who was trying to cheat? Barry Murphy? Mark Rutherford? Jason McGuinness? These are the players that have won seven matches and drawn six, totaling 27 points. Whatever dubious carry-on was taking place in the name of SRFC in the past it's not their fault, nor is it mine or any of the other 435 shareholders of this club. You can stay living in the past if you so wish. We took our medicine and got on with it. Thankfully there is some justice in football as our efforts are now bearing fruit, and despite rediculous sanctions we WILL survive and we WILL stay up.Originally Posted by Roo69
