Premier Division sides Bohemians, Bray Wanderers, Drogheda United and Derry City and First Division Kildare County will all be without key players for their respective FAI Carlsberg Cup third round matches later this month after the FAI Disciplinary Commissions announced its latest list of suspended players this week.

Bray will miss defender Stephen Gifford for the visit of Leinster Senior League outfit Cherry Orchard to the Carlisle Grounds.

James Keddy, a versatile performer for Bohemians this season, will sit out his side’s meeting with another LSL side, Wayside Celtic, at Dalymount Park.

Drogheda will be without Scottish defender Stuart Malcolm for the County Louth derby against Dundalk on Friday week, while Derry City’s in-form midfielder Ciaran Martyn and Kildare County top scorer Robbie Shields must sit out the meeting between their respective sides at the Brandywell.

Other suspensions announced will see Athlone Town’s Graeme O’Keeffe, Aidan Price of Kilkenny City and Dublin City’s Ray Scully miss their sides’ First Division outings on the weekend of August 26-28.
