This has been the best season since we came back out of Covid in terms of actual competition in each division.
What are the pick of the games this weekend?
Springfield ucc and watergrasshill Shandon be the standout 2 for me.

Hopefully no games called off this weekend. Weather has been kind hopefully pitches have recovered enough,, a lot of teams gone weeks without a game don’t be suprised if we see some strange results…. hopefully we get a few weeks going on bounce now with evening games nearing too
Did any games go ahead today and are any going ahead tomorrow? Seems like we are doomed with this weather.
I wonder did many games go ahead today?? Was talking to two of knocknaheeney celtic players well ago travelled all d way down to crossbaryy to play richmond in aoh cup and were togged off and ref walked pitch said no lines on pitch and grass was way to high to play a match and the richmond Committee rang the aul told them the situation early this morning but Aul member told them the referee has to inspect pitch and make the decision and offered to travel to knocknaheeney celtic to play match but Aul said no the referee has to inspect pitch first what an absolute disgraceful decision and carry on the Aul are living in cuckoo land
4 out of 7 games off today. I would say teams were short players more than pitches being unplayable. It will probably be more of the same for tomorrow's fixtures
The water that's fallen last few months is relentless. Most pitches thst don't have quality drainage works done need a week at least of dry weather
View held to a draw by donomore today, anyone at the game?
Looks like your prediciton was right.be some backlog st this rate.
Was talking to a watergrasahill lad this morning and they knew since yesterday morning game wasn't going ahead.
Apparently the hurlers had a game so it was clashing.
Youth game went ahead there yesterday.
No wonder the aul can't get through games
Sounds like 1 of the games that could genuinely have gone ahead so.
Not sure what richmond are at not even cutting their grass.
But at least they had volunteered to move it i guess.
Yet the ref had to view the pitch and get his payout for turning up..haha.
Wonder how many of the games that were called off were inspected by refs as per the new aul rule.
It's gone mad at this stage...different rules for different trams.
It wouldn't surprise me if there's a loada walkovers in a few weeks when the fixture backlog arrives
Ya an absolute dissaster of a year for weather.
Walkovers likely for teams without anything to play for, handy for teams still going for honours and are training motivated.
The mighty Grattan killer Bs’ title hopes took a bit of a dent this morning..
ANOTHER **** UP BY THE CORK AUL COMMITTEE ONCE AGAIN. I was speaking to Shandon Celtic skipper and he told me the Cork aul committee member rang the secretary to ask would they agree to change game from sunday morning to Saturday and rightly so refused to change dates to facilitate Watergrasshill as the Watergrashill hurlers were playing sunday and lone and behold a phone call came through on friday from Cork aul committee member to say the game is now off over pitch unplayable even though Shandon celtic argued the point in saying there pitch is playable but Cork aul were having none of it FAVOURISM for the mighty Watergrasshill is there for everyone to see 1 good season they had last year and the Cork aul are falling all over them Beggers belief i tell ya Beggers belief
To be fair to Grattan that's not the Parkview team that started the season they have a lot of new additions recently.
They may be a better team than what we saw before christmas

Bweeng, Los Zarcos an Bosco's will all be hit hard with the Gaa an midweek games . I wouldnt worry about the Norries ,,,,,they might get a few additions themselves
On the favouritisim thing.......
There's a Aul rule book there with loads of rules in it. It was written once by those who cared, an respected by those who played. It meant something.
Read it one way , makes perfect sence.
Turn the book 90 degrees an it looks a different set of rules , an those in this league who are good at the dark arts turn the book as they see fit.
The Aul merely apply the rules , depending on how the book is turned.
Every club has turned it in their favour at times .
