Second week of feb and games still being called long season ahead for clubs.
City Wanders and Glenthorn Off last night. Hard to know if it’s due to pitch or due to numbers. Good bit of rain fell last night so I’m not sure how many games have a chance of going ahead realistically.
Second week of feb and games still being called long season ahead for clubs.
Also time we realised you arent who you claim to be.
Lets be realistic here . Outside of a few of the top senior sides the standard in Cork football is atrocious. The AUL isnt great and is badly ran. Once a few of the older heads on the committee move on that may change or it may not. One thing the committee of the AUL can't be blamed for is clubs folding.
The CBL has its own thread will you please go there to post as its pretty obvious you are a CBL member and not an AUL member.
Teams fold in the CBL too all the time. The difference being they just change their name to Arbutus Netflix international UTD FC and come back a few seasons later.
If you want to go play in the CBL as you claim to be an AUL player please do.
Off you go . Run along "Ivan" no one cares
Thought you would be more of a Coco pops kind of guy

I wouldn’t look too much into friendly and look at the competitive meetings between the leagues, the cow are the best team in that leagues history, there’s no competition for them either and they’ve never been able to get by a village side that hasn’t been strong since 2016/17, even the year village won the AOH they admitted themselves that they were poor and had incredible luck in more than a few games
And that lad that scored the goal Matias, is average at best, he’d be lucky to get a game at Glenthorn or City wanderers, and they’re both poor, didn’t they lose that game 6 or 7-1 as well?
How is this ref calling the games off meant to work? Sure the ref isn’t going to see the pitch up until an hour before kick off earlier. Thats not ideal for teams that have to travel, imagine going form east cork up to rathcool and the ref takes a look at the pitch and says it’s not playable ??
Exactly latte another dopey rule the AUL came up with and didn’t last a week what kind of people running this at all.
Tryna figure out if a ref travels and calls off a game does that meant the refs travel expenses still have to be paid?woukd the home team have to pay them?
Lookin at games off it looks likes clubs were still able to call games this weekend.
Only greenwood game is going ahead
The rule will be enforced on a weekend where most games are going ahead and a club says our place isn’t playable they will send the ref down just to be sure
But obviously on a weekend like this common sense has been applied
The ref is paid half his fee if he travels to the game and postpones it.
Common sense or not the email clubs received from Bree the secretary of Aul stated under no circumstance can games be called off going forward only ref can make decision I know that lad pepper don’t miss a trick and reads this so he should left Bree know that idea they came up went just went pear shaped.
The lad salt and pepper reads this for sure. Wouldnt surprise me if he had an account on here
Big game for Castleview tomorrow can they bounce back from defeat to Killarney celtic last week and get one over ucc in the aoh what ye thinking lads
Not sure what the bickering is for, All games bar one were cancelled, as said common sense applied hardly a load of teams trying to pull a fast one today
I’m not bickering City all I’m saying is Aul sending up theses rubbish emails when ref were never going to be aspecting pitches today ffs pepper and his mates need to wake up
Big game tomorrow for grange and coachford. Big win for donaghmore last night against Banteer. Banteer surely gone now
