In saying that it is a long day and fair play to anyone who is home for 10:30 it’s normally closer to 11.
Such a facility in Aul it’s a hurling facility

Lads let’s be honest about it, we could do with 4 or 5 more of these in the city.
If they were available I have no doubt fellas would comfortably agree to play matches at 8 ko on thurs fri or Monday nights to have their weekends off.
It’s not a hurling facility it’s a community facility hence the soccer pitch linings on the pitch
It’s a Community Facility owned by the people of Banteer.
The pitch’s are only part of the facility.
The dressing rooms are fantastic some of the best in the country.
Throw in the stand and the Coffee shop it’s brilliant.
I know for a fact if all games were Friday night players would be delighted then the weekend is your own.
Quack quack
Ah stop! Sure don’t they have the whole weekend to recover getting the game out of the way on Friday night. One of the perks of having such a facility is that it gives teams other options outside of a 2pm saturday kick off. Stop your whinging ffs. Not like they have to do it every Friday. Some moaners here I tell ya.
No wonder watergrasshill pushed for the game against grattan on Saturday, free weekend this upcoming weekend off the aul… pitch was like a bog I’m hearing
These arguments are beyond funny lads. Like any team in the AUL, they can have a preference to when they want to play home games. So I'm sure there's legitimate reasons Banteer pick Friday night. Plus it's probably costing them twice as much with use of the flood lights, not an easy cost to cover for any club. Personally, I always hated 14:00 kickoff on a Saturday. travel, warm-up, play the game etc. Whole day gone, plus plenty lads working Saturdays too. I'm sure every player will have different preferences for different reasons, but you can't fault a club for having a preferred slot. Would be similar if Churchvilla picked a Sunday Morning or something!
Also, if any fella wants more than 30 mins warm up for AUL, do some stretching in the portacabin!
Any report from the Watergrashill and Coachford B game on Wednesday night ?
Was there 3 red cards for Coachford ?
Good win last night for castleview out in cit going great guns at the moment
Great result for los zarcos last night.
Corinthians must not have had the proper time to warm up on the all weather in banteer.
They would have been tired playing on a friday night after a long week at work aswell
I love this blog???
I believe college Corinthians came up by boat
They stopped in mallow due to a lack of rations and set sail again around midday to arrive at their destination around 7
They then travelled by foot through rough terrain for a number of miles before arriving at the best facilities the whole of cork have to offer
No one knows if they made it home safe or not.
the ball is not a bomb........
Apoligies lads , wifi signal can be iffy.
Good to hear all the various lads have returned safely from their safari's and tours of duty.
It's all about sharing info on here an iv learned a few bits lately .
#1 there's a hotel in Banteer.
#2 D hamster needs to up date the clock.
#3 Mr Musturd has a swimming pool down his direction with plumbing issues.
Big game tomorrow for Grattan if they loose my opinion league over I’m some fella to make calls
Just watching MOD so iv my Gary Linerker glasses on,,,,,,,,,
I actually think its a huge game for Grangevale.
There on a high , things are going relatively well. In a weak league they are doing the buisness. Blip against Knocka,,,,,great enthusiasm an vigor from them as a team.
But you don't win leagues beating your main contender ,,,,,you win beating all the rest so tomorrow is huge for Grangevale because if they loose they will wobble,,,,Coachford or Grattan wouldn't wobble, they would just keep going,,,that's why there the best teams in the Aul .
Grangevale by there own admission , on their ever impressive face book page , were very happy to scrape a point in the 1st game of the season against Grattan.
Coachford have switched management again an are rumbling to life .
UCC , along with Grangevale have started so well.
Springfield are plugging away .
Village will hopefully keep doing well , Dunlea has to be commended for a cracking job so far as manager.
The rest will always pick up results unexpectedly.
Either way, should be a great game
