    Town vs Country

Just out of interest re the comments from the club that the support from the town wasnt as strong as it used to be and that support from out of the town was more prevelant i thought it would be interesting to set up a little poll to see where people on this forum are from ie town or out of town

Where would out of town begin?

Rathcormac is outside the borough, and I'm not sure about Carraroe either. To be more exact what I wanted to know was,
If you live inside the borough are you considered "In Town"?
If you live outside the borough are you considered "out of town"?

    Wink

I have a small problem with this!I consider myself a full blooded townie but have live outside for 2yrs now.And having lived next door to showgrounds for ten yrs and grew up within spitting distance of the showgrounds.I am a bit confused which way to vote but have decided vote for outside as I travel from outside boundary for games now.

wow the roasters are taking over!!

i think a proper survey would show that there is more ppl from town but the ratio isn't as substantially in favour of town as it used to be

Just wondering what does the term "buff" mean?
I know I've used it all my life, but maybe not as much in recent years
Anyway, where did the term originate.

I'd take a stab at it and guess - "Big Ugly Fat Farmer"

considering the lack of away fans in the showgrounds&the sixe of the town we;re still puttin most prem teams to shame. dublin city&bray's averages have show a dfifference of around 400(the increased away fans in prem). if u factor in that it's pretty decent

More due to their proximity to the 4 big Dublin clubs than other Premier teams themselves.

i know ya but i'm sayin if we had this advantage we'd be up there. i don't expect 400 away supporters when we're in da prem next yr
