The Cork Business League is an adult male junior soccer league which currently operates in the Autumn – Spring football season. Founded in 1952, still affectionately referred to as the 'shipping league', has provided junior football for teams representing their places of work for more than 70 years.
The aim of the Cork Business League is to build and maintain a firm-based League which will commit to promoting positive Employee health & well-being, along with improving commitment and dedication amongst squad members within a working environment.
The Cork Business League helps to change habits which involve little or no physical activity through the love of Football. Football is the most played sport in the world and teaches us valuable skills of team-work on and off the field.

The Cork Business League is proud to announce today, on the shortest day of the year, a partnership with Head in the Game, supporting Jigsaw and Shine charities to introduce an initiative for the rest of the season – the CBL Captain's Armband Initiative.
This collaboration aims to raise awareness about mental health, provide support for people facing challenges, and foster a sense of community within the Cork football scene.

How many AUL teams are jumping to the CBL next season. I know of 3 who want to go.
History will be made on Sunday as this season’s edition of the CBL Mick Mooney Challenge Cup Final will be our last ever Cup Final to use hard copies of a referee’s match card. Or so we hope. We will miss the handwriting.
