It was a good victory and much needed. We rode our luck in the first half because Dublin should have scored three goals and our first half goal we took really well (see what happens when you play the ball on the ground). The second half our performance was very good in that we pushed up on Dublin and were able to control the game better. We created some half chances and Tommy did well to score his second by beating his marker in the air.
I was surprised to see Buckley put onto the left wing during the second half, why play the most hyped about defender in Limerick junior soccer in the past few years out of position

is it true ye released the guy that got sent off versus us last week
No you are thinking of Thomas McAuley where our chairman basically lost the plot once more and just went beserk on Thomas. Again our 'beloved' chairman undermined the manager because I always thought matters relating to player discipline should be dealt with by the manager and no one else.

Actually this was a good move by NOC . Buckley helped Tobin out, something Kerins wasn’t doing. He added an aerial threat from Mooneys kick outs and was physical. Up until he came on Dublin were getting a lot of dangerous crosses in from their right side.

But why are you surprised to see NOC play someone out of position?

Mooney 6 – will people stop calling for him to come and collect high balls- he doesn’t do it and never will.
Wolfe 6 – couple of wild moments (which is part of the course) but did well
Tobin 7 – some poor passing but strong in the tackle and has benefited from playing regularly. And people wanted Mick Ahern at left back? I don’t think so.
Molen 7 – arsed around with the ball at the back in the 1st half and was nearly caught out. It was either him or Keating that made a fantastic goal stopping challenge.
Finnucane 8 – solid as usual.
Keating 6 – Keating will always try hard and did but its obvious hes not comfortable out there.
Sweeney 6 – quiet in the first half. Came into it more in the 2nd.
Barrett 8 – best display I’ve seen from barrett all season. Goals aside he was excellent. Took the ball and passed it around. Just what we wanted to see.
Kerins 5 – a bit better than usual but not much.
Nolan 5 – lazy and never a threat. Is he watching all the work Robbie does?
Robbie 8 - superb. No wonder hes not scoring as hes still having to collect the ball in midfield and beat 3 players to get sight of goal.

Overall. Best match I’ve seen at Hogan all season. We played football.
On the Programme (again!): full of adverts which is great to see for the clubs benefit but seriously can we get some more reading in there? And please can you take McCarthys pic and name out of it.
    you gowl!
