Robert Enke, Hannover 96 goalkeeper and in the Germany squad. Sad news.

The fight is won or lost far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym, and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights.

Aw no! Used to love him as an actor. The Equilizer was one of my favourite shows as a teen, particularly used to love when it was on late at night when would come in from clubbing and sit with tea and toast and watch it. RIP Ed.

That is terrible. Best character in Corrie by a mile. Loved her putdowns.

    Here's a few.

To Deirdre and Ken: "Good looks are a curse Deirdre. You and Kenneth should count yourselves lucky."

On Liz McDonald: "Skirt no bigger than a belt, too much eyeliner, and roots as dark as her soul."

Deirdre: "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."
Blanche: "I think I'll go home then. "

Shame about Blanche, genuinely one of the best comedic actors on British television this decade

Agreed . The comic timing of a lot of the actors on that show is very good, Norris is great

Doubt it's been called Coro since Reg left either...Corrie yes, Coro...never heard it!

    Great character though, RIP Maggie.

75 years of age they say. I think someone lied about their age. Add another 5years at least. Great humour. Will be missed.
