Sounds like they haven't a clue and are just making up motives.

That's what I was thinking. He was found hung in a hotel room and immediately they blame not becoming Olympic champions on it. Rumours have gotten wilder though none make sense.

Jerry Nelson, the voice of Count von Count.

This makes me a lot sadder than it really should.

Prof Sid Watkins, at 84 retired some time now but still sad news for any F1 fan. Saved many lives with his reforms, and several directly, including Rubens Barrichello and almost Ayrton Senna if he'd only have listened.

For once maybe someone will call me "sir" without adding "you're making a scene."

Very sad news just coming out tonight about the passing of Ulster Rugby's young centre Nevin Spence, his brother and father in a slurry accident in Down. He was a real talent and was going to be a future star of Irish Rugby.

    R.I.P.

It was always my greatest fear when I was on relatives farms and you always hear the horror stories about it. Shocking.

Horrendous way to die and God help his mother. I hope his sister recovers. So lucky my own family is fit and healthy. Puts my ongoing debate with Charlie Darwin and Ole into perspective.

Corrie Sanders (ex-Heavyweight World Champ) died from gunshot wounds last night in South Africa. He was 47. Anyone who followed boxing from the mid-90's would remember some of his performances. He was always well matched but a hard puncher with brittle hands. Had a reputation as a bit of a wild man, opposite of his countryman and contemporary Pierre Coetzer. He beat Vlad and lost to Vitali Klitschko, I might have that the wrong way, but I think it's right.

I remember Andy more for BORN FREE which was the movie theme to some tear jerker film about Elsa the lion roaming free

John Bond I remember as a successful manager of Norwich and a not so successful spell at Manchester City but he did get them to a Cup Final against Spurs. I assume he fell off the planet after that but not sure. His son (Kevin) is still involved on the backroom staff with some team but can't remember which.

Herbert Lom joined Peter Sellars to create mayhem up in heaven. He was 95, born in Prague and was more a serious actor than I thought. He was great in The Ladykillers (the good version).
