Just saw this on BBC website:

The renowned rock guitarist Gary Moore has died, the BBC has learned.

Mr Moore, 58, was, originally from Belfast, and was a former member of the legendary Irish group Thin Lizzy.

Adam Parsons, who manages Thin Lizzy, told the BBC that Mr Moore had died in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Mr Moore was originally drafted into Thin Lizzy by its singer Phil Lynott. He later gained acclaim for his solo work and was a former member of the Irish group Skid Row.

Maria Scheider from Last Tango in Paris fame

Her life was never the same after it. It seems that when she would ask for something in restaurants the waiters would often snigger and ask her if she'd like some butter as well. She never spoke to the director again and hit the bottle too.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

I was a little shocked to read that she was only 19 when she starred in that movie, and opposite Brando of all people. Not a healthy combination.

R.I.P.What a babe in her day.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

When I first saw that photo of Jane Russell, I thought it was the woman from Fr Ted who tells the whole island when Eoin McLove is visiting Mrs Doyle.
