Turns out humanity is mentally sub-par.
Wim Jansen!
Taylor Hawkins. RIP. Too young, serious talent.

One from a while back, but anyone who played Championship Manager 01/02 will remember the name Maxim Tsigalko.
He got two caps for Belarus (scoring once) but injury meant his career never took off the way it did in almost every CM game.
He died on Christmas Day 2020 at 37. No cause of death reported that I can see. But it seems Belarus isn't the place to have your career ended early by injury. Fairly sad story overall.

I saw one post online saying the poster had nine of the same drugs in their system for legitimate and prescribed pain management. Urine tests are a bit crude, and it might be best to reserve judgement until the toxicology report, which gives you quantities, is available.

Who "inherits" his clients now? Anyone have any idea?
Not sure at all but i think his brother is involved heavily in his agency so there’s probably some sort of succession plan there for the last while. Either way, you’d imagine this might cause a little/lot turmoil in the transfer market this off season!!
Ric Parnell, the drummer from Spinal Tap.
Cause of death "not immediately available". Maybe because you can't dust for vomit.

Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.
Dervla Murphy, completely mad travel writer (in the nicest possible way!) from Waterford, aged 90.
A Place Apart is one of the best travel books I've ever read, about a spell cycling around the North in 1976. Comes with a post-script from the Head of the British Army at the time crediting the book with helping change his understanding of the North and, ultimately, getting the place on the path to peace.
That's rather ruined my day![]()

Andy Fletcher of Depeche Mode. RIP
Was only watching a doc on the Hansa Recording Studios in Berlin last night.

Drummer Alan White, of Yes, John Lennon and George Harrison fame.
https://kesslereffect.bandcamp.com/album/kepler - New music. It's not that bad.
The Andy Fletcher announcement today got me in the feels. Was a huge fan of DM and him in general.
DM’s Personal Jesus was also the answer to todays Heardle which is a very weird coincidence.
Lester Piggott a true icon on the sport of kings.
