Actor Moray Watson from the Darling Buds of May, although I never watched it http://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituarie...ctor-obituary/ He also had bit parts in episodes of Kavanagh QC, Midsomer Murders, Vicar of Dibley etc. You'd have to wonder what did guys like him live on with just the odd part every so often.
Forget about the performance or entertainment. It's only the result that matters.

I had to look him up there. Heard the song and had one of those "aaaaaaaaah" moments.

Showing my age with this one!

Actor, Geoffrey Bayldon, aged 93. Best known for playing the title role in Catweazle. Only saw reruns as a kid, but I don't know how many times I read the book (up to and including once last year when I picked up a copy in a flea market!). He was also in Worzel Gummidge.

Many like me I imagine would have labeled 'Children' as one of the first trance tunes they ever heard. It certainly had a profound influence on me as to this day, as I still actively listen to trance music. That tune 'Children' for me was a key reason for the trance boom in the late 1990s/early 2000s as it can be seen as the intermediary between early trance sound and the then later melodic sound of which that tune has elements of both. Certainly a pioneer in that respect.

I actually quite like One and One too, even if it is not trance. Always reminds of innocent and happy times growing up!

Chris Cornell of Soundgarden. I'm going hungry. I love that song!

Looks like he committed suicide after a show.

I'm still struggling with this one. The greatest voice of this generation, and Hunger Strike is also one of my favourite songs. The combination of the power in his voice with the sheer rawness of Vedders was just phenomenal

People are saying they have to build a moat around Eddie, he is the last one standing! I have to be honest though Nigel, I never actually considered Soundgarden to be in that genre of music with the Portland/Seattle bands of that time. If you listen to Mudhoney and Screaming Trees or Nirvana even, and PJ, etc......do you really think SG fits that mold? Soundgarden is almost more of the Portland side of things to me like for example Everclear. Not that it matters.

Anyway, he leaves two teenage kids. Shame. They dimmed the lights on the Needle in Seattle last night for an hour.

Not exactly. It was suicide, that's clear for all to see. What she is saying is that it's the fault of his medication, which reportedly gives you suicidal thoughts as a commonly known side-effect.

If this can be proven any way, there may be a major lawsuit in the pipeline.

You don't get the life ins pending certain things on the autopsy related to the "Suicide" verdict from the coronor. I don't blame her one bit.
