It looks to me like Everton will continue to try to strengthen the center-back position. Maybe Jake O'Brien won't be part of their lineup, but someone else will join. Not now, but in the next year.

He's done enough this season to justify a call up, and with Paddy McCarthy now involved for March's games surely we'll see him involved.

Looks like he might have just scored the winner in a 3-2 victory away to Toulouse. Sees them into the top ten now. Isn’t that his third or fourth goal this season?

Yes, it ends up being the winning goal. If nothing else, we could be some threat from corners if we can get all of him, Collins, O'Shea and Omobamidele on the pitch.

Fourth of the season, second winner - He's their second highest scorer this season, behind Lacazette (they are a low-scoring team, with only 31 goals in 27 league games).

Will be facing Kylian Mbappe in the final of the Coupe De France after Lyon's victory over Valenciennes: https://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2024...down-in-final/

Credited with an assist as Lyon go 1-0 up on Brest tonight. Still half an hour to go, but as it stands Lyon are amazingly (given their start) up into the European spots now. 7 points from their first 14 games but 34 points from 15 since then

Somehow this game ended 4-3 with Lyon scoring a 106th minute penalty to win it. They're up to seventh in the table.

I had a look at Lyon's results on Wikipedia - if they had earned the same number of points in their first 14 games as they did in their second 14, they would have been neck-and-neck with PSG right now

    Insane game of football
Lyon went one up in the first half, Brest scored three goals in ten minutes in the second half to go 3-1 ahead.
Lyon got it back to 3-3
Two players were sent off around 87 minutes, and lyon win it with a last minute penalty after Lacazette is knocked out by the Brest goalkeeper!
